About the President
Vicki Schreckengost, RN, MSN, CLNC, is the founder and president of the Chiarezza Consulting Group. Her diverse career spans over 25 years in professional nursing that includes expertise in medical and surgical critical care environments with a specialization in the cardiovascular arena. She spearheaded a multitude of clinical research trials in leading academic medical institutions across the United States. In academia in community college settings, Ms. Schreckengost prepared undergraduate students with their clinical acumen. In academia in the graduate setting at the University of California, San Francisco, Ms. Schreckengost participated in the graduate education of clinical nurse specialists.
For the past 8 years, Ms. Schreckengost has applied her clinical and academic repertoire to the business sector, working with a variety of medical device companies as the leading authority in the implementation and management of domestic and global clinical investigational trials governed by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Union and other country-specific governing regulatory bodies. Ms. Schreckengost possesses a unique internal business perspective that ranges from involvement in early product development through the regulatory aspects of final product approval.
Ms. Schreckengost received her initial nursing education in a diploma School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, a Masters of Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Postgraduate Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing from Stanford University Medical Center. She received her Certified Legal Nurse Consultant training and certification through the Medical-Legal Consulting Institute.
